Sanjeewa Malalgoda is Co-Founder of Corlence, leading Integration and API Management. He is the former Director of Engineering at WSO2, where he led development of API Manager, a platform now used by more than 500 enterprises worldwide, and is the WSO2 Ambassador for the ANZ region.
Sanjeewa has spent more than 15 years building API management, integration and AI platforms for enterprises around the world. Before co-founding Corlence, he was Director of Engineering at WSO2, where he led the team behind WSO2 API Manager, architecting deployments that process billions of transactions a day for banks, telcos and government agencies.
He holds AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate), Kubernetes and Cloud Native Associate (KCNA), and WSO2 Certified API Manager and Identity Server Practitioner certifications, and contributes to open source projects including Apache Synapse, Axis2, Axiom, the CNCF Kubernetes Gateway API and Envoy Gateway. He has co-authored peer-reviewed research on API and GraphQL security, and as WSO2 Ambassador for the ANZ region has delivered 20+ international conference talks, 100+ webinars and podcasts, and 400+ technical articles.
Sanjeewa holds a BSc Engineering (Hons) in Computer Science and Engineering, First Class Honours, from the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka, with executive education at Cornell University and Stanford University. At Corlence, he leads engagements in API management, enterprise integration and identity and access management, working directly with client engineering teams rather than through account managers.
